Ingredients
meat (lamb or beef)250 gr
Onion2 quantities
Potato400 gr
Split peas200 gr
Dry lemon5 quantities
Tomato paste2 tablespoon
Salt, pepper, and turmericin enough amounts
Oilin enough amount

Instructions

  • Chop the onion and fry it in oil. Wash the split peas.
  • Chop the meat in small cubic form and fry it with onion and split peas.
  • As frying, add enough turmeric and pepper. When meat’s color changed, add some water and let cook on moderate flame.
  • With a fork, punch the dry lemons and add to gippo. Let the gippo cook on moderate flame. Finally, add salt and tomato paste.
  • When completely cooked and get oily, put off the flame.
    Peel the potatoes and French and fry them in hot oil in a pan. When serving Khoresh Gheymeh in dishes, put fried potatoes on.
  • Or you can add them in gippo before serving in dishes.
  • If you like cinnamon, add some on gippo, we suggest try it.
  • Also for decoration, you can chop some potato in flower form and fry to use in parties.
