Instructions
- Chop the onion and fry it in oil. Wash the split peas.
- Chop the meat in small cubic form and fry it with onion and split peas.
- As frying, add enough turmeric and pepper. When meat’s color changed, add some water and let cook on moderate flame.
- With a fork, punch the dry lemons and add to gippo. Let the gippo cook on moderate flame. Finally, add salt and tomato paste.
- When completely cooked and get oily, put off the flame.
Peel the potatoes and French and fry them in hot oil in a pan. When serving Khoresh Gheymeh in dishes, put fried potatoes on. - Or you can add them in gippo before serving in dishes.
- If you like cinnamon, add some on gippo, we suggest try it.
- Also for decoration, you can chop some potato in flower form and fry to use in parties.
